The ruins and farming

I have read Hobson's logs in the ruins and he mentioned something about using them in the right way. I concluded that this meant that I could use the ruins to farm using the large variety of slimes that live there. However, I also came up with another idea, what if, later on, you could use an incredibly large amount of Newbucks in order to task the 7Zee organisation with the repairs of certain areas of the ruins allowing you to place down corals and gardens that give you extra stuff due to the aura in the ruins (or fuelling them with echoes for bonus items). Seeing as there are already relatively large bodies of water for puddle slimes there would be no need for puddle slime ponds. Let me know what you think of this.
