One thing I would be interested in would be if some upgrades required plorts as well as NBs. I think it would work thematically and and a nice layer to the game economically.
For example a number of phospher plorts could be used to make a vitamizer.
Tabby Plorts could be used for energy upgrades.
ETC.
This would further express the utility of plorts (Why people buy them from you) but it would also create a need for variety on your ranch so that money isn't the only objective you need to worry about.
Let me know what you think. More examples or why this is a bad idea.
