There is in fact a quantum gordo hidden in the ruins, and if you didnt know and want to find it for yourself, LEAVE NOW!

Right, now that those more "adventurous" people are out, let's talk big fat flabby slime. You can find the quantum gordo to the right of the big bottom pool near the end of the ruins. Go through the crystal doors until you've shut yourself out. What you didn't know was that opened up something below you. Head down the hidden slope to find your big blob 'o science.

If you go to the end of the ruins area, where the barrier is, and look back at the ruins you can see, you will notice a closed door to the far left.
At least it should be closed if you went to the barrier using a door.
