Do plorts in nature despawn after some time?

Postby JRH99 » Wed Jan 06, 2016 3:29 pm

After a lot of in game days (~20) i am ''completed'' the alpha, and i noticed the FPS dropped to very low numbers, and in nearly all areas the plorts are everywhere, once a item/plort is dropped on the ground it stays forever?
-suggestion: if yes, please make them despawn after some days T_T
*Sorry bad english* XD
My suggestions thread!

They do seem to despawn eventually - A Cuberry tree grows on the island with Angry Phosphur slimes, and I often notice Plorts on the ground. They aren't there after a while though (Pink ones too, I know Phosphur plorts disappear in the sunlight).
From Pink Slimes to Gold Slimes, every slime has a place in life... Except rad slimes, nobody cares about those.

I had a blue one stuck under the stairs at my ranch. When I realized that and thought about how to get it, it vanished. Don't know how long it was already there, though. I think that will happen to all not picked up, sooner or later.

Never really paid attention to it. If there's too many things going on I usually create a Tarr and let it kill every single slime in the area. I'm sure the plorts despawn at some point though.
Sometimes I may be blunt, but it's for your own good.

I also notice a lot of frame drop.. but usualy at the ranch... rarely in the wild.

I believe in my case it's linked to the BoomSlime explosion effect.
