New Slime Idea that may Shock ya!

Plort starting value: 80

Rarity: 1/75 chance of finding it in dry areas

The 'Dynamo Slime'

Diet: Electricity

Favorite: None.

Slimeology: The Dynamo Slime's body is made up as if it was a living battery, the body is seemingly made up of machinery from Ranchers, so some slimes call this slime 'The Scavenger' The slime's body is full of positively charged ions in the atmoic structure of the body, attracting metallic objects towards it. This includes Rock Plorts, so they will most likely will be causing Largos in the enviroment. The slime has many electronics strapped on it, including a solar panel, and a headset, usually the rest of the body is a flexible metal. However, this slime consistently craves electricity, although it has been scientifically proven that this slime survives from the solar panel's electricity being pumped into the body. The reason why this slime requires excess electricity is unknown, however there are some theory's. One claims that they store this energy to cause movement, as opposed to biomass of other creatures and plants, and that the solar panel is not directly feeding it. Some believe the body falls apart if electricity is not supplied enough, changing the body into a frozen state. However one things for sure, if these guys run out, there's no plorts for you!

There is also a theory that these guys are connected to some way the radiation supplies, however the only proven connection is that Rad plorts can be used as an electrical food.

These slimes also may try to harvest electricity from the Corral walls, they may drain enough to disable its machinery, but going near them can be fatal as they are composed of electricity along with that metal exterior, so you'll want to repair the corral after it is damaged to continue feeding and automation. These guys will also be kind enough to spare electricity to fellow Dynamo's so do not worry if one slime freezes up.

Potential risks to ranchers: The slime can disable the Corral if they eat enough of its energy, you can see how much electricity is missing if you look at the colour of the corral's walls. If it's red, it requires repairing or the slimes will run out of food.

Plortonomics: The plorts are very useful for magnetic fields and locks, they are used for the highest of bank security, so they are valued quite highly over some other slime plorts. With use of 'Blue Metal' it's stronger then any lock in the world! There is only a 99.999% chance of failure!

How would one repair the Corral walls? Would it cost Newbucks? Or maybe Rad Slimes could produce energy to repair the walls? Either way, this sounds like a really cool idea.

Pay money to make money! If you had less than 5 Dynamo slimes, you would lose money, but more than 5 and it will make you money.

The multiplier is 1x + 0.2x every dynamo slime.

So enough Dynamos and you'll make money than losing money.

Seems like they wouldn't be a good choice for me, since if I have too many Slimes or Largos of different types, I get pretty bad lag. Due to that I tend to only keep 5 in a corral at once. But they're still a pretty cool idea!

It's a pretty interesting idea but the only to see if it would work would be to mod it in. And you can't really do that right now. Q_Q

And you'd need at least 5 to make money? I mean they're pretty rare so you'd have to keep them in your inventory until your have 5 of them? That sounds inconvenient.
Sometimes I may be blunt, but it's for your own good.

Golden Slimes are apparently a 1/10000 chance, you'll find atleast 4-6 dynamo slimes if you seek 'em out in one day. The problem is understanding them at first.
