idea for auto plort collector

i notice that when the auto plort collector sucks up the plorts, it sucks the food for slimes to the hole as well. i bring this up cause sometimes the food makes it hard for plorts to be collected. is it possible for maybe the plort collector hole to be raised and tilted to an angle so food does not block the hole. or is there a way to have the plort collector ignore the food you give the slimes? just something i noticed while i have been playing
