Very excited to try out the update, Nick! Mustaches are a welcome addition to Slime Rancher. Will update this post with thoughts later today.

EDIT: After playing for a while, I can see that everything is mostly fair. Unfortunately, I have discovered a rather humorous bug, and I cannot locate any of the new treasure pods.

The bug: If you pick up a largo, then, for reasons I cannot explain, you have a chance to be shot up into the sky with your largo. You can also be shot in other directions.

Discovery of the bug: I have a corral with honey-hunters. It was filled with plorts and mint mangos, so I went to pick the mangos up, and I picked up a largo on accident. It flung me up into the air a considerable amount. I reproduced it using the same corral.

EDIT 2: I have recently noticed that the number of rare materials I am getting has risen substantially. I think this is a very welcome change. Royal Jelly used to be really rare. Now it's just kind of rare. I set up 6 advanced apiaries at the lab and waited for the timer to run down. Then, I emptied them, and the second one I emptied gave me 2 Royals Jelly, and the next one gave me another Royal Jelly. That's the equivalent of 1/2 chance for an extractor to give me Royal Jelly! It might be a fluke, though. So I'll get a larger sample size.

OMD i legit had the same bug with the same type of largo doing the same as you, picking some mint mangos from the corral. and it doesn't happen only once, its every time you pick up the largo.

Another bug that i found was that time freezes when you are on a menu, for example if you are looking at the resources in the lab and you have the menu on the screen, time will not move on. This also happens when you enter into the house.

I think that's intentional, Dark.

Haha, best update ever is right. Though, I do think we need some hints as to how we get access to the slime fashion. It seems to just happen at random.

Also, yeah, how do you get fashion off of largos?

Hello,

the bug discribed from base4 with the largos and kicked back/in the air have i also.

And i found another thing. If you have vaced up a chest and aim to the ground/floor you slip away when the ground is angular. Shooting the chest "into" the ground the Chest flies away instead of breaking XD.

I've also found none of these new pods espacially these costume pods.
Come these blueprints with time or must they be found ?

I honestly have no idea where these new pods could be. I've scoured the entire world and have come up empty-handed; I've scanned all of the Indigo Quarry, the Moss Blanket, the Dry Reef, the Volcanic Island, Ring Island, and every single back road and crevice I can think of, and still, nothing! Where did you put those things, Nick?!

i accidentally came across some bushy eyebrows on the steam boards which i thought i had them all already lol. they were really well hidden and i'm not sure if that space was there before, or added just to put a pod there. only the 2nd pod i didn't find myself.

Apparently, people have located the new treasure pods and have updated the wiki; their locations are now on the wiki.

The door between the dry reef and the overgrowth is very annoying. Having already bought the overgrowth I feel like I was tricked of my slime key when I opened a door only to find it led to an area I could already access.

well at this point you have extra slime keys anyway and that open area is nice to get some extra stoney hens. also i wouldn't have found the treasure pod on the other side of that bridge without going through that gate.

I don't. I have to save up food for each Gordo over several days. There may be more keys than doors, but that doesn't mean I have them.

true, at this point i have 100 of all foods (well not chickens- i fed all 400 to my free range hunters- they didn't even last a week lmao) so i can just fill up on a slime's favorite and go to town.

I'm not sure if this is a 4.1 or a 4.0 addition, but Thora just offered me a bottle of lava dust on the ranch exchange -- I've never done a ranch exchange so fast, let me tell you! It made me excited to check the exchange again.

It was added in 0.4.1 that NPCs on the range exchange sometimes offer you a rare resource.

Also, props for the super dramatic strange diamond reveal there.

I personally would have worded it as super dynamic, but I will take it.

The fact that there are bushy eyebrows (labeled as Serious Fashion) for slimes is something I enjoy more, however.
Hopefully someday I will encounter a Jelly Cube with a Game Face on it.
