大家好，我就是上次那个中国人，众所周知，v0.4.0c这一版本已经更新了，也祝贺史莱姆牧场卖出了半万套，作为史莱姆牧场吧的小卒，我们难以坚持制作民间汉化，对此我们在史莱姆牧场吧大量宣传Steam正版，希望引起开发组的重视，但是效果并不理想，所以特地在此发帖，如果可以，我们愿意帮助你们制作官方汉化，虽然我们时间不多，但是我们会尽可能抽出时间的，谢谢！
Hi guys, that's long time no see!I'm that Chinese players last time .
We all know that the v0.4.0c has already updated ,as a member of the Chinese Slime Rancher's forum,we're reaily reaily excited with this update,and we were insisted on making the Chinese localization for the other chinese players needs,and we also trying our best to support the steam original Slime Rancher.
However,it looks like not very effective ,most of Chinese players stumped because of the game's language,so after us discusstion, we think that the official Chinese will make a lot of Chinese players start to expect the original game even buy it down directly,that's reaily nice, right?
So if it's possible, we will help the Monomi Park as much as possible,we will do our best on the Chinese localization,thank you for reading it over,we all want to do some contributions for the Slime Rancher lol

In particular, in the first post of that topic linked above you will find a quote containing thoughts on this subject from Nick, one of the game Devs:

Hi everyone. We really appreciate your enthusiasm in wanting to help translate Slime Rancher. Currently our plans for doing so are as follows:

At some point in the future, most likely following the release of v0.3.0, we're going to work with a translation company to do a first pass on the translations for SR. Following this first pass, we would recruit community volunteers to work on the ongoing process of translating future content.

So please sit tight as we work this out, but feel free to post if you're interested and what you can offer. Though I'll add that just doing so won't guarantee involvement. We have a lot of experience with this sort of thing and having too many people involved can lead to problems.
