First I knew I didn't have the space (or the ability to feed) a corral of every slime/largo slime type. I initially thought that I should combine slimes of ilke diets. This would make feeding them a tad easier (my thoughts aren't quite the same anymore, I shall explain).
Therefore I originally thought "I shall mix rock with pink, because pink eat anything and rock are the only slimes that require veggies. So a pink/rock largo will be great for just one veggie crop (heart beats) and any other random crap I can find.
I also noticed that obtaining lots of meat isn't exactly easy. You cannot farm enough hen hen/ stony hens to feed a populated corral of meat-eating slimes, much less two. I knew that the two slimes which require meat are tabby and boom. So I thought to cross them and have just one slime that requried meat (limiting my need for meet, my thoughts are different now, though).
I then crossed honey with phosphor as both require fruit. So I had three corrals: Phospor/Honey, Tabby/Boom, Pink/Rock.
I still realized that having even just 15 Boom Tabbies required too much meat. Yes if I hung around the wilds I could farm the hen hen spawners as well as my two coops, but that's boring and would require a lot of attention.
So I have changed my mind. I now enjoy three corrals:
Honey Booms, Phosphor Tabbies, and Pink Rocks. I also put a pond down below near the Phosphor Tabbies, with between 6 - 8 bubble slimes (I feel any more would just be too crowded for a single pond and I want happy slimes) ^^
I can grow one veggie patch, two fruit patches, two chicken coops, and feed all my corrals. I keep 10 - 15 maximum largos in each pen. I find there is no reason to keep any more.
Thus, I have more space. Four of my main plots are now silos, busting at the seams. 100 pogo, cubberry, heart beet, mint mango silo, and another silo of hen hen, stony hen, roostro, and carrot.
The other two silos are full of plorts. The only plort not full is the golden plort, with just 3 golden plorts ^-^;
P.S:
My favorite largos to 'look at' are Phosphor Honies, and Boom Tabbies ^^
