Considering I have an older build of the game (version 0.2.2) in hand that I can go back to anytime, I don't really share the same sentiment.

I kind of wish they were still the standard slime shape, and with a mouth, but that they had the new texture... These new puddle slimes remind me of eggs.

I totally agree with this statement. I like the new color and sounds, but I miss the mouth. I also have heard the guys on YT call them eggs and/or Frisbees.

Please bring the old slime look back with the new color and sounds. :/

Huh. I think they're SUPER cute this way. They look so squishy, I just wanna poke 'em!

I like them this way. They're actually puddles now.

I must admit I liked the old puddle slimes too. They were cuter somehow. That said the new ones are very cool and do look more in keeping with a puddle! The old ones were really just the same as the pink slimes but blue.

Maybe the old ones could be re-introduced so that there are two variants of puddle slime? And these two could produce different plorts allowing for a bigger puddle largo. Or how about if they added fish to the game and the old type of puddle had to be fed? Just some ideas.

I have nothing against the puddle slimes in your inventory, but when I put them in a pond they look really wierd

so because they don't have a mouth everybody wants the old one back? couldn't you keep the new one but add a mouth? or just turn it back to the old puddle slime but if it's kept out of water for too long it'll turn into the new one like it's dissolving?

NOPE: Still explodes into cartoonish stars.

but I like how you can shoot them and they glide like frisbees ._.

The old ones were just palette-swapped pink slimes. These ones don't have mouths to show that they don't eat normally. And I think the new shape is cute? It really drives home that they do not belong out of the water.

I agree 100%!!!!!! these new slimes are not cute at all.

i really like the new design! it definitely looks more puddle-like

my only beef with it is that its new slimepedia art looks totally out of place. all of the other slime illustrations have a really smooth and consistent style (even the newly introduced rad plort!), and compared to the rest the new puddle slime illustration just looks weird :/

Hmmm, I actually like the slimepedia picture better then when it's put in the world. Well people are different I quess

I think they should look more like the slimepedia icon because otherwise they look like fried eggs. Also I don't like how there can only be 4 in one pond. At least up it to 10!

If they could only add a mouth, it would be better. :P But anyhow, it's not that big of a problem.

In Hachi's slime arts, there was an egg slime. I thought it was a great idea. c:

The old puddle slimes were temp art: pink slimes with their hue shifted. The puddle slime's design was always intended to be actually puddle-shaped and have no mouth (to denote they cannot eat resources). So while adjustments can be made to their design, overall it's here to stay. I'm sorry if you're not crazy about them, but I think plenty of others really like them now. You might even see future slimes that have a similar form. We're still developing stuff.

Nick, I vote an egg slime shaped the same as the puddle slime. B^) pls consider
