Please add "Invert Y Axis" for the mouse

Postby xenxander » Fri Jan 01, 2016 3:18 pm

It's an issue with me, that in a first-person perspective, I want the y-axis to be inverted on the mouse.

I want to pull back to look up, and push forward to look down.

Games become very hard to play otherwise.

Can you add an option to invert the y-axis? It would mean a lot to many of us.

+1 for this. I just can't get used to playing without an inverted Y axis. Thanks!

It's planned for the future updates.
I'm surprised, I've never seen people use the Inverted Y axis on the mouse. Is it because you're used to Flight simulation games or did you always play like that?

I'm genuinely curious.
Sometimes I may be blunt, but it's for your own good.

First PC games I played were the x-wing games and it 'stuck' ever since.

I did not, and still do not, regularly play simulation games, but my brain is totally wired for inverted y-axis. As early as 1999 with "kingpin: life of crime' I had to invert the y-axis.

It's just how I am.

P.S:
I'm very glad this game lets you rebind the mouse buttons. I have an unconventional way to bind the movement keys and I do not use WASD for the traditional movement like most people.

this also has to do with my introduction to PC gaming on my own, in the late 90's (to clarity, my introduction when I could afford my own PC rig, living on my own) and trying to find a feel for what works and what doesn't.
