gold and rad

Postby bandon41 » Fri Jan 01, 2016 2:57 am

last few play hours i've been hunting the gold slime to capture it, failed at that
when i decided to just shoot it down i didn't encounter it anymore (big suprise)
but without seeing the gold slime i did find it's plorts somehow, so instead i figured i'd make a golden largo's so i could farm the golden plort
then i noticed no slime would eat the golden plort (kinda makes sense)

but now i wonder
are golden largo's planned for the future or will they never exist (according to current plans)
and what about rad slimes? i've seen the achievment, the rad plorts have a price on the market, and the intro screen shows the rad slimes, but i can't seem to find them in the game. are they yet to be implemented in the actual game or am i missing their hiding spot?

Rads are not implemented. Also it isn't intend for you to be able to farm gold plorts. They are pretty much an incentive to explore the wilds.

Giving any type of Plort to a puddle slime will create a Tarr. So be careful where you experiment. ;D

Not true, puddle slimes completely ignore all plorts.
From Pink Slimes to Gold Slimes, every slime has a place in life... Except rad slimes, nobody cares about those.

Weird, that's how I spawn the Tarr when the first part of the mossy area becomes too populated.
Unless it's just a big coincidence that other slimes around me eat the wrong plorts at around the same time I "Feed" the puddle slimes. Which is totally possible.

Are you sure that a nearby Largo isn't eating them?

EDIT: Did you edit your post or did I just miss the second line? Anyways, where do the Tarrs spawn and is the Puddle Slime still there when they appear?

That could be it since the surrounding area is full of Pink Tabby Largos (Somewhere around 25-30 of them)
To be honest , I usually leave to the other part of the Mossy Zone after spawning 2-3 Tarrs. So I really have no idea.
