Will slime rancher be local coop/multiplayer

Hello dear slimeranchers, I am wondering whether or not slime rancher will be local coop (LAN) or multiplayer in its final release. I believe this would be an amazing feature to add. Thanks

Probably not. thanks god for that, first of all, that would kind of ruin the story of the game (Many Beatrix LaBeus?), Second, this sandboxy game is surely better to play alone, third, i can already see people in public servers ruining everything by creating Tarrs, and fourth, They would probably need to remake the map to make multiple ranches and make it bigger and harder.
