Aquatic Expansion

I sent an email to Nick and he told me to put it up here so yeah, I suggested that using underwater environments such as the ones in the small lakes in the moss blanket to expand the planet on far far range.They could use the slime sea even but requiring certain upgrades to access them like O2 tanks and such. They could even implement aquatic slimes like corral or shark slimes as well as aquatic based food like fish or kelp. That way you could actually cross puddle slimes with other aquatic slimes. To rangle the aquatic slimes they could implement upgrades to ponds like aquarium or high walls to make the water deeper. I know it's a lot but I think it would be an absolute blast to incorporate it I just love the ocean.

Ahh. A nice beach. Beautiful white sand shoreline. Octopi happily jumping, fish fish swimming, sand shifting, the fruit in the tree is uh, grinning, sharks searching for prey, the jellies glowing like little bubbles. And Cthulu. I guess. Welcome to the Aquatic Revolution, a community concept for what I'm currently calling the Pearly Shores. A tropical island with an explorable reef to open up a whole new world of slimes that can be kept at home with clear, above-ground tanks, replacing the meager pond.

Said aquarium could also have upgrades like Pigcatapult's (Deep slime Concept Creator) "Nutrient-Enriched Gel Substitute water" for non-fresh water slimes, "Sandy Bottom" (Just came up with) for the possibly beach-phibious Sand Slimes to stay, the "Plort Filter" from my Octo Slime concept to keep ink (or Plink, as I called it) from ruining the water and more importantly functioning as the aquatic plort collector we all need in our lives, and finally in addition, a Slime-Sized fishtank castle for light-sensitive and aquatic slimes to shelter in.

(Even if this doesn't work, when the game is released the community should figure out how to add this as a mod.)

I was thinking the aquatic corral be two plots long, one side a beach and one side a reefed aquarium. It might be clunky, but it might work better as well.

I think this would be better in two sections. Each area so far has only had like 3 slimes, so i think this should be divided into the beach and the swimmable reef area.

I agree with you Ninjazosia! However if i can put my two cents worth in to this discussion, I think splitting the aquatic areas into 3 or 4 parts (it can happen over 2-4 updates) would be much batter! the areas being: Beach (slime eg: Sand slime, Crab Slime, Sun slime), Ocean (slime eg: Fish slime, jelly slime, Octo slime), Deep sea (slime eg: angler Slime, eel slime, monster slime) and Cave (Slime eg: Mite slime, Tite slime, Dark Slime).

It's a fabulous idea ! I had the same idea about the areas. And I agree with the author on improving the vac pack by adding a water breathing system divided into 2 or 3 upgrades , the first for the acquisition and the other for the reduction of energy cost, as done with the jet pack.

I thought the fish fish, shark slime, and octo (even though they're encountered differently) would be in a reef-like area, then squid, Deep, and jelly would be in a deeper area.
