What are Plorts?

Postby Nexmaster7 » Mon Feb 08, 2016 8:21 am

Now I know people say that they are slime poop... But I think I've found a way to describe them a bit better.

Slime Plorts are the crystallized slime that is produced when a slime's cellular gel capacity is reached. In a matter of moment the slime's body compresses the gelatin-like cells and crystallize it, shedding it off. These Plorts also contain properties that can be refined as well as genetic coding to hybridize other slimes.

What are your theories on what Plorts are... And poop is not a valid theory.

I started a thread in general discussions for this stuff called Slimeobiology. I think I have a pretty sound theory about how slimes work in general, just have to write it out. However, there is a concept for plorts. Check it out.

I don't know how many times I can say Mitosis... It makes a ton of sense. We've never seen one hatch from a plort.

They could take a long time to hatch.

Actually I've seen plorts just up and disappear if left on the ground long enough. They just pop. Nothing happens after that. They're just gone.
Light the way.

Because they require the same energy as a Slime, but without the nucleus "brain" and sensory organs of the main Slime, they could never find it and die off, filtering into the ground before just crumbling with a small poof.
