Puddle slimes disappearing in pond?

Postby TheGeneral » Tue Dec 29, 2015 4:45 pm

I don't know if anyone else is having the same problem, but whenever i get puddle slimes and put them in the pond they disappear really quickly as if they are on land. I thought puddle slimes could live in ponds but every time i get more to try and get them to stay i still doesn't work.

Where are you placing them?

Main ranch, Grotto, or Overgrowth?

Slimes disappear in the Grotto and Overgrowth (ranch expansions), this is a known bug, place them in the main ranch instead.
From Pink Slimes to Gold Slimes, every slime has a place in life... Except rad slimes, nobody cares about those.

If there is not enough water in the pond the slimes will run away.

I've had similar problems. Btw, in the new download 0.2.2 the grotto and overgrowth despawn, chicken, and other bugs were fixed. The only thing I can think of is that they jump out on their own. I even kept the pond full.

had the same problem, i placed one pond slime in my pond, so it wasn't crowded
the closest possible predator was locked up but when i returned i had a pond with 2 plorts but no pond slime
if their diet wasn't just water i would have considered it had starved

if they jump out of their own then we need some pond upgrades to prevent that
