There's a silence on the forums today, it seems. How to break said silence? With a forum game! Fittingly named Break the Silence.

The rules of the game are simple. You take someone's scenario where there's an awkward silence, and find some way to defuse the awkward situation. You then come up with another scenario, again having an awkward silence.

Example:
Poster 1: Someone knocks over a can, and everyone stares.
Poster 2: Everyone decides to drop what they're doing, and play can bowling.
[insert other awkward silence situation here]

It's like some other forum games, all squished together to form a nice neat jumble of craziness.
I'll start:

A group of people are all sitting in the same room, all getting on ties for their next meeting.

One of them yells "IF SOMEONE LOOKS AT ANYTHING, INCLUDING THE FLOOR, WALLS, AND CEILING, THEY'RE GAY!"
Afterwards, they all start yelling at that one person because now literally EVERYONE is gay.



The forums go silent.

A spambot attacks.

Somebody suddenly makes a popping sound.

That was not someone, It was the pile of potatoes jim hid in the air vents

They all fall out onto the table

All the people broke the various tables, stirring up a conversation about it.

A ball is tossed.

I eat it and people begin talking about how this insane boy ate a ball that was just tossed.

Five people (of genders that I will not say) are in a room naked. There are no doors or windows.

someone farts.

after someone farts, everyone is silent again.
