It is the year 2307. Earth has entered a new era: one where robots live in harmony with humans. But something grows ominous. A new, titanic structure, the Electower, has been built, but recent power failures make it seem that not all is as it seems...


Welcome to another RP!

In this one, you play as a band of heroes trying to scale the Electower! This is the application form:

Race: Human
Items: Scrap metal, Computer chip, Battery
Weapon: Ray gun
Strengths: Can make almost anything out of spare parts.
Weaknesses: Anything he makes has a tendency to explode when destroyed.
Backstory: He is the son of the famous inventor, Dr. Jeffery, and took his old ray gun.
Other: He has a very rude PDA.

Name: Jake
Gender: Male
Race: Both?
Items: Glider boots, smart phone, and a bottle cap collection.
Weapon: Built-in Laser Cannon, Electric sword
Strengths: Bionic legs allow him to go very fast.
Weaknesses: His laser needs to charge, also he is a short-distance runner. Because he is bionic, he may be vulnerable to hacking. Also, being rather young, (11 years old), he sometimes thinks with a childlike mind.
Backstory: A brilliant young engineer with powerful bionics. He has no idea what is origins are, one day he just woke up, laser cannon and all. Also built some boots with thrusters, allowing him to glide.
Other: The laser from his cannon is unnoticeable and inside of his right hand. He can also use it in different ways, such as using finger guns that fire short blasts. None of his bionics are actually visible.

Name: Goes by "Medusa."
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Items: A few bags.
Weapon: Switchblade, uzi, mechanical eyes which can spew fire.
Strengths: Mechanical eyes allow for a variety of different features, such as infrared, X-ray, automatically identifying objects, and engulfing her enemies in fire.
Weaknesses: Will steal anything if they consider it somewhat valuable, doesn't trust robots.
Backstory: Was once in a group of bandits before they disbanded, although they still continue their bandit ways.
Other: Although they claim that they're here to help fix the tower, they're actually just here to take stuff and are not concerned with the power failures whatsoever.

Name: Vinator (Vin for short)

Wingsuit
A pair of mechanical wings that allow him to fly. Theyre designed after vultures so he doesn’t actually fly well, he just gets in the air and glides almost endlessly.

Extreme Toolkit for All Purposes (ETAP)
Basically a glorified toolbox with futuristic tools.

Extreme Lunchbox for All Purposes (ELAP)
A lunchbox that’s seemingly bigger on the inside, and is refrigerated. Is mostly filled with cheese.

Weapon: Plasma Blade for Cutting Stuff (PBCT)
A blade worn on his wrist (but can be removed) this weapon makes a bright blue, controlled plasma blade which can be used to cut things. It’s rather poor at cutting through organic material, and isn’t an ideal choice for combat.
(think Sheikah Sword from Breath of the Wild)

Strengths: When needed he can invent gadgets for us to use, is a master aviator. Give him anything that can fly and he’ll fly it. Is always prepared, especially for situations that require large supplies of fancy cheeses (which supposedly saved his life once) He can somewhat fly using his wingsuit, which is designed to resemble the wings of a vulture by default (he can change this for different needs, but it takes a really long time) He can use his plasma blade, which is attached to his wrist, to cut through almost any substance quickly and efficiently.

Weaknesses: He’s rather lackluster in actual hand-to hand combat, and can’t aim to save his life, thus he prefers shotguns to other weaponry. It takes a while for him to build most things, so he can’t do stuff on the go. Is extremely sensitive to being tickled.

Backstory: Born and raised in an aviary, Vin has always liked birds and dreamed of flying. He taught himself how to fly almost any flying vehicle, but this didn’t satisfy him, so he decided to build himself wings. He became skilled in science, physics, robotics and all sorts of other stuff, and invented his wing suit, the ETAP, the ELAP, and the PBCT. He prefers the company of robots and animals (especially birds) to humans.

Other: Plans to take blueprints of various machinery within the Tower for an unknown purpose.

Name: Andrew Gotchezk

Race: an alien with robot parts

items: 20 plasma cores, and 20$

weapons: Planetary destruction (its just a plasma sword), and a Very strong shotgun.

strengths: hes part robot, pretty strong, almost indestructible.

weakness: hes part robot (meaning him and water don't really get along), also needs to recharge every 30 hours, (he basically just sleeps to recharge) and he hates, absolutely hates sand.

backstory: had a happy life until he had to flee from his homeworld,and come to this planet, he became half- robot because his shuttle blew up upon landing. his shuttle blew up on an old inventors shack.

the inventor saved his life, but in doing so Andrew became half robot.

the inventor greedily talked about the Electower and the material it housed, and to repay the man who saved his life, Andrew will scale the Electower and and bring back heaps of scrap.

The 5 were hanging outside the Electower, the door open.

"Well, who's ready to go in?" said Eric.


"Not me." says the PDA.

*blasts open door* Well, here’s our entrance.

(Surprise, i'm late to the party. As a result my character will only appear later on, when I choose for it to appear. Keep that in mind.
Name: Lifter #B-333
Gender: N/A
Race: Robot
Items: None
Weapon: None, unless you count the huge hands it has.
Strengths: Being a robot designed for lifting heavy stuff, it is insanely durable and strong.
Weaknesses: Advanced hacking can claim it.. Its also a bit slow, and doesn't think fast, just at a decent speed.
Backstory: A robot that had a role in building the Electower, it was abandoned partway through and its energy-deficient body lays somewhere in the tower.
Other: Its appearance is basically a big humanoid robot. Perhaps our heroes may be able to do something with its powerless corpse. And I don't mean salvage it for scrap, that's rude.)

(A vulture that has been circling nearby suddenly dives, spiraling downward. It lands and turn out to be me in my wingsuit.) Sorry I’m late! You would NOT believe the amount of thermals that thing is causing. I could stay up there for a week if I wanted to. Anyway, shall we go in? That amount of heat can’t be good, and I fear if we don’t act soon it’ll fry everything this side of the Notterdam.

(The notterdam is a gigantic artificial river going straight across the United states from Northern California to Georgia, connecting to the Mississippi at some point. It was built mostly for moving large ships from one coast to another, but has several large fish farms attached to it. Should you not want this to be canon I’ll remove it.)

(I'm fine with that. Now...)

As the crew bust open the door, they find themselves in a large, circular room. The center is filled with a large glass tube filled with wires. There are a few boxes here and there, and also a staircase.

"Hmmm" says Eric. "Seems like a glass problem. I doubt that's all though." He pulls out something that resembles a welding tool and starts fusing it together.

"Are you serious?" says the PDA.

Medusa looked around at tthe rest of the group. "No robots, great!" she thought. To her, robots were the worst kind of people around, if you can even call them that. She smirked as she watched Jake blow down the door, then went inside.

Medusa took one good look at all the boxes within the room and immediately knew that SOMETHING valuable had to be in them. Knowing this, she quickly switched her vision to x-ray and started to look over the boxes.

Andrew walks in with a large metal rod in hand, he walks over to one of the many metal plated walls and starts prying off tiles

Jake searched the area, looking for loot and a staircase. All he found was a rusty crowbar and a microchip in a crate, but he also found the stairs, which were blocked by a glass door. The door just seemed to reflect his laser.

“Hey, any ideas for getting through here?”

(P.S.: Who is the PDA?)

(PDA stands for Personal Digital Assistant. She resides in Eric's tablet.)

"Ok, stop breaking everything. I've fused the glass together." said Eric. He walks to the door and swipes the PDA into a small slot. It then opens, and Eric heads up.

On the second floor, the large glass tube continues, still filled with wires. A few scrap metal of former, non-sentient robots is on the floor. The staircase continues.


In other news, Medusa found some scrap and wires in the boxes.

Jake looks around at the group. He liked them all, but he was a bit suspicious of that Medusa person. He thinks about what could get through the glass wall to the stairs. Maybe Medusa could melt the glass.

“Hey Medusa, could you come over here for a sec? I need you to... uh... melt this wall. You think you can do that?”

Andrew fills his bag with metal tiles from the walls and activates a security measure iron gates lock the entrance and all open doors.

" sorry, My bad." Andrew mumbles

“Oh come on!” Jake said. He’s still able to blast through the iron gates, but the glass wall still needs melting.

“Medusa?! Could you get here any slower?!”

Oh, I can take care of that. This is standard blast-proofed titanium glass, and it’ll need something more focused than a regular laser. This is a job for the PBCT! (Vin activates his PBCT and cuts through the glass with some effort. Eventually there is an approximately rectangular line of molten glass where Vin cut. However, the glass on the inside remains in place)
Hmm. Lemme try something. *KICK* (the glass flies backward and clatters to the floor in one piece)
That did the trick. Now, onwards and upwards! (Vin goes upstairs after scanning various nearby objects with a device on his left wrist)

Medusa turned to face Jake. "Buddy," she said, "I don't know what you were wanting me to do. That was glass, that's not something you can just melt and be on your way!"

She turned back to the door. "We have more important things now, anyways." She begins to climb the stairs to the next floor.

Andrew lags behind and starts going through the tiles he peeled off, he notices one of the tiles has a strange insignia on it, its almost shaped like a lightning bolt but in a circular shape, there is a star of some sort inside the lightning bound circle.

Andrew feels it would cause a problem if he brought it up to the group, Andrew hides it inside his robot arm and aims to reveal it when the time is right
