Feel free to also reference earlier changes and partially base them off of that, but it still has to link with what the last person said.
We begin on a blank planet.
The first person to reply gets to decide the first change!

The world starts as an ocean.

An island develops in the ocean.

A tsunami submerges the island

The island is broken into pieces from the tsunami.

The pieces swell into continents

Continent A, from the hard erosion, develops into a desert.

Life begins in the ocean, but is driven away from Continent A because of the harsh environment. Instead, they go to B, populating it.

most of it is then wiped out by an ice age

The first animal forms, the woolly mammoth due to the ice age.

Some animals from continent B migrate to continent C, a tropical continent.

Many plant varieties begin to grow on C.

Remember A? Some species of birds fly there, and adapt to the environment.

It rains in A, causing more animals to come there and adapt.

In C, animals start migrating more and the plants evolve to be carnivorous because of this.

The carnivorous plants drive about 1/3 of the animals away, going to B which becomes more populated.

A sudden earthquake splits B in half, creating B and now D.

Half of the B Animals are now on D and adapt to swim back to B and other continents.

1/5 of D’s animals swim back to B, while 1/5 populate A and C, where they make an aquatic population.

an underwater supervolcano erupts, resulting in E

Some of the creatures somehow adapt to living in extreme heat.

Heat from E results in clouds, which rain and create rivers on the other continents.

Meanwhile in the ocean, some creatures are beginning to become huge.

Some of the large creatures emerge and take over Continent E.

The monsters start eating E's wildlife, who soon adapt and become poisonous.
