But yes, Kildrak attempts to move the bridge, lifts it, and puts it down, enabling him to cross. Kildrak walks across the bridge, and realises he has no weapon. Or armor for that matter.
You're also dying. You should do something about that.

The armor is fit for a kobold, not a dwarf, but you're similar in size, so you are able to put it on. You also grab the spear from earlier.

After donning your new armor, you walk back to the gap where you put down the bridge. You walk across, round the corner, and continue down the hallway until you see a large iron gate. The gate slowly lifts off the ground, and you walk through into a large, dusty room. Cheers surround you, as you notice you are in an arena. Kobolds fill the stands, and you see a winged kobold standing in a room. He shouts, "Oh what do we have here? One of our contestents coming before schedule? Must be an escapee! Do you all know what we do with escapees? We let Linda judge them!"
All of the kobolds erupt into louder cheers and laughter as a gate on the opposite side of the arena opens. Slowly, a scarred owl bear with matted, bloody feathers lumbers out, and lets out an ear drum shredding screech. Your ears ring, and before you realise it, the beast is apon you. Dust kicks into the air as the owlbear makes a left hook with its massive paw. You duck out of the way just before the paw makes contact, but the owlbear takes the chance to dive down on your back with its beak, dealing 2 damage. The owlbear whirls around, hurling you across the arena. You hit the ground. Hard (4 damage). You slowly role to a stop, and the owlbear lets out another screech of pure hunger.

The owlbear charges you, and attempts to slam its paw down on your head, but you block it with your spear. She staggers back after you deflect the attack, giving you the oppertunity to go for a stab with your spear. You ram it into her torso, dealing 2 damage. She knocks you to the ground with her other paw, knocking the wind out of you. You hear something crack, and take 2 damage (wow that damage was anti-climactic). It attempts to slam both paws onto you this time, but you roll out of the way just before impact. You take the chance to climb onto the owlbears back, and stab it with you dagger, dealing 4 damage.

Owlbears don't have wings, so you decide to stab it repeatedly. You get in 4 stabs, dealing 12 damage, before the owlbear attempts to throw you off. The owlbear hurls you about 10 feet away, and you take 1 damage as you land.

Don't eat your clothes in the middle of combat. Instead, focus your temptation to eat your clothes on eating the Bearowl's nonexistant clothes.

You realize that that spear might be key to your victory, but it will be dangerous to get it back. You wait for the owlbear to charge you. She dashes to you, letting out a screech of agony before she gets to you. The roar rings in your ears, and as you look up from squatting down and covering your ears, you see her scarred body towering over you, and she slams her paw into you, causing you to fly across the arena. You take 3 damage (you got lucky on that damage roll), but luckily, you managed to grab the spear as she hit you. At least you got the spear.

NOTE: Death is a high possibility. I recommend some unorthodox tactic, so here are a few things Kildrak noticed throughout this fight:
- Moving in this arena kicks up a lot of dust and sand
- The owlbear had been captured in some way, and judging by its blackened feathers and the fact it was trained in someway, it might have some relation to fire...
- The only thing separating you and the owlbear from the audience is a simple rope net. The owlbear seems to have some sort of past with the announcer as well...
- You are likely to die

Hmm, crazy? Considering the fact that the owlbear has a chance of having to do with fire somewhat, try to make it burn the rope net. I'd assume the announcer probably trained the owlbear or something similiar, too.

edit: Or somehow make the announcer make the owlbear do that, SOMEHOW. (Assuming the announcer trained the owlbear.)

You take a torch from the wall and throw it at the net, lighting it ablaze. The fire spreads throughout the net, causing the owlbear to screech in fear. It hunkers down and covers its head with its paws in the center of the arena, giving you plenty of time to attack it. You take this opportunity and charge the owlbear with your spear, dealing 6 damage (it was an automatic crit).

Seeing yet another opportunity to attack, but still wishing to be a safe distance away, you throw your spear at the owlbear, finally striking the mighty beast down. The audience goes silent, and stare in awe as you aproach the monstrosities corpse. You cut off its head and raise it in victory, and shout, "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?" You retreive your spear, and leave as all the kobolds run out of the stands in fear of your power.

No worries, i didnt spot any mistakes. And i know the feel of suddenly being thrown out of your comfort zone to be forced to listen to some educational stuff.

Look around for somewhere to go, since you've clearly come out victorious. See if there's an escape route somewhere, but be wary. Our HP is still somewhat low. Maybe we'll take a nap soon. But not now.
