(Alan picks up the gun, and unloads the gun into the's arms and legs)

Alan: Good luck swimming. Now doug, do it with me. On the count of three, kick him off the edge and say "THIS. IS. SPARTA!" 1.... 2..... 3!

(Alan and doug shout and kick the into the slime sea. Alan proceeds to throw the gun out at sea as far as he could, which wasn't very far.)

I know you're not gonna die, but we could probably use a bodyguard right now. (I call someone with a second antenna) Hey, we got a problem here. Code beta red. Tell 7Zee that we have a good spot, and the minerals in my current location match those the private rover found. Tell them Project Boring Sponge is a go. Also, try to keep amiable relations with the French. (I send the message with my current location attached) IS ANYONE HURT? (A buzzing is heard from my bag) Great. Geiger counter is going off. There's radiation ahead, we need to be careful. (Explosions are heard in the distance) What the heck was that?!?

Alan: So first we killed someone, now there's radiation and explosions? Maybe NK beat us to the punch here...

Phew. I think I could use that antidepressant pill, actually.
(Another explosion) Again, what was that? (A red slime falls from the sky) Oh no, this poor slime got caught up in the blast! Strange, it only looks dazed... (eventually the slime is acting fine) Well, this species appears to be resistant to explosions. And it's covered in these yellow glowy cracks...

(I investigate it closely as it nibbles on a bit of fried chicken somebody dropped) Carnivorous. Good to know. (Suddenly, a tabby slime appears from nowhere and steals the chicken, startling the slime) Aww, poor thing! (It bumps into me, startling it again, and it glows and then...explodes, knocking me ten feet backwards) Whew... I think that the slime itself was causing the explosions... (both me and the boom slime are dizzy, yet mostly unharmed) Must be a defense mechanism. I can see it using hydrogen or phosphorus from animal matter as a fuel, but it will require further research... But that doesn't explain the radiation. We should figure out what that is, and then get the heck outta here.

[7Zee has already existed for a relatively short time in this universe, and is currently mostly just a planetary colonization corporation, but they are working with Alex, and possibly others, for currently classified stuff.]
