what would SR foods taste like in real life

Hi, I was thinking the other day, "what would SR foods taste like in real life?" so i made this.

I'll go first.


Mint Mango-

I thought this would taste like a nice crispy mango, after you just brushed your teeth

I like to think that it would taste like the most ridiculously sugar-coated strawberry ever.

Chicken...tastes like chicken!

In seriousness, for some reason I see the Stony Hens having more of a dry, tough meat that's relatively flavorless, and the Briar Hens having a bit of a spiciness to them. IIRC, the Hen Hens are said to be twice as tasty as earth chickens, so does that mean there's more of the same flavor? Are they more juicy? The world needs to know!

Hmm... Lessee... Odd Onion? Sort of sour, with a hard, crunchy center, quite bitter, but also sweet and spicy in places. What can I say? It's odd!

How about a Prickle Pear?

(I know it's unreleased, but I thought It'd be fun)

A dry pear with several little bits of APC* that taste distinctly of non-electrical batteries (Cold Metal)


*Annoying Pointy Chips
A.K.A Those chips that scratch your mouth going down your throat.

The oca oca and prickle pear are technically real foods (although the prickly pear grows on a cactus, not a tree)
