All good things and all journeys come to an end, and we’re afraid it is time for us to say goodbye to the Monomi Park Forums. Much like Bea had to leave Earth for the Far, Far Range so she could grow, our community has found homes on new platforms and these forums are no longer the right fit for us. We’ve got so many fond memories of our time together here and we’re sure you do too, so we will be archiving the site and making it viewable for everyone for a time.

Don't be so sure. Lots of people had the idea of a slime science. It pretty much stemmed from reading the Slimepedia. Everyone just kinda had the same thought of using the abundant resources to help out on the Far Far Range. I'm also pretty sure the developers had the crystal slime idea BUT put it on the backburner for more important things like fixes and tweaks. Rock slimes already have crystals on their heads anyway, so it was bound to happen whether it was thought up by a developer or a fan.
