It seems this forum needs a strong anti-spam bot protection . I saw a lot of porn spam links in the topics . I could help for forum or website .

This is getting so bad, there even is an link posted on one of dev's announcements!

We're looking into various ways of handling it and hopefully we'll have some stronger filtering up soon. In the meantime, please report any posts by clicking that funky fresh triangle in the picture and avoid posting in the bots topics, as it makes the threads linger when we remove the bots' posts and they don't really listen anyway.

I know that :) I started to use phpBB nearly 13 years ago . Developed a lots of themes and plugins . And helped people for launch their platforms . http://www.suntroop.com/ that was my last work but it's died long time ago . That's why I said "I could help" because I am already skilled about that .

I report everything but I really wish there could be stronger protection... Some of the topics were quite yucky and I was worried for younger users.

No, just a link. The text itself is usually just spam of every inaproppiate word under the sun... bleh. >.<

Good gravy, a lot of melarkey has happened while I was on hiatus! I can already tell that there's going to have to be some moderators specifically for spam that are on site every day just to check for idiot spam things like this.

I mean some of it, it's annoying, but...that 'p' word that no one wants to mention? That. That's what has to stop. Dang. Just dang.
