Questions About the Forum

From what I've seen, lot of people (including myself) have asked questions about the forum work here and there. And of course, you might feel a little stupid asking some of them because you are afraid they might be really obvious. So I've decided to make this thread for anyone who has a question about the forum, whether it's as simple as uploading pictures or anything else. Your question will be most likely answered by me, or if not, someone else who knows the answer.

The rules are:

1. No telling anyone their question is stupid
2. Don't ask a question that is completely unrelated to the forum.

So even if you feel stupid asking a question, it's ok to ask it here.

I like the idea of this thread. Being new is hard, and we exist in a toxic culture that punishes people for asking questions. That can make it really scary to make a new thread. Having a thread for smaller "How do I?" questions would really help with that.

I can answer questions about using the forum code/uploading images and so on. If anyone would have any questions about that. :)

So true. But I guess I'll ask my own question to start this off. I always try to get a nice picture to use as my icon, but whenever I shrink it down it become really blurry. How can I fix this?

It could depend on what software you are using. What program do you use to scale down the image and what format do you save to?

I use an app called "Image Resizer" on my iPad. Would it be better to use something like photoshop?
