Another forum game!

This game is called Fortunately, Unfortunately.

I will say a sentence, such as, "I got a new cat." The next person will say as example, "Fortunately the cat was calm." The next person will say, "Unfortunately, the cat's calmness was merely an illusion." and we continue so on and so forth!

Common rules apply.

Starting sentence: I won the lottery!

Unfortunately, those were the same $12,000,000 you got from suing the company and it didn't get you any closer to paying off that $75,000,000.

Unfortunately, you raised the $75,000,000 by borrowing it from somebody else, and now you owe them $75,000,000.

Unfortunately, that was refering to the friend who loaned you $5 so you could buy a sandwich. You still owe your non-friend $75,000,000.

Fortunately, your non-friend who you still owe $75 000 000 to, decided to forgive the loan from the kindness of their heart. You owe absolutely NO LOANS to anyone anymore.

Unfortunately, the street gang that your non-friend belonged to did not, and they wouldn't forgive you no matter what.

Fortunately, they had no proof of your involvement with the gang so you were set free and you went home.

Unfortunately, there also wasn't any proof that they were planning on killing you, vandalized property, sold drugs, murdered people, and didn't look both ways before crossing the street, meaning they were released too.

Now they're waiting at your house to ambush you.

Unfortunately that was not actually your friend, and in reality they were part of the gang and were going to use the weapons on you.
