Please. Stop.

Postby hypehypehypeahhah » Fri Feb 19, 2016 7:29 pm

I've seen like 6-7 posts that only ask when is the next update coming up, and that's IT.
Even though it's specified in the FAQ, posts like these keep coming and coming.

Please make it stop. Or make a new board update-related so that everyone can complain there and be ignored.

Complaining about this seems a tiny bit mean, imo, it's just me, though.

Making a sticky would be good but you have to remember that for any game, whether popular or not, whether indie or triple-A, people are simply going to ask when next updates are coming. It's a matter of fact. I'm guessing it's either people out of the loop for a while or completely new people.

Indeed there is nothing wrong with enthusiasm.
Many new members have never seen the question asked before, much less answered.
Very low percentages of members of any community read FAQ's, that's just the way it is.

*sigh* I guess i just have to deal with it. It's not like it affects me a lot anyways exept for the fact that the 1000th post was a guy asking for the next update

Anyways, i still think it's a good diea to make a board dedicated to all update-related questions (including criticism and such). You know, to order things a bit.

no matter how hard you try, they are still going to not see this thread or any other thread and keep posting on general discussion. I've seen it many times before. just get 2-3 lines of text to copypaste.

People will be people. This is not really a bad thing, and it will keep happening.

Especially once the new content starts getting teased more, like indigo quarry now.

cough
An Altar of Literacy system could work great.
Just replace English with Slime Rancher FAQ.
I can't verify this working with phpBB
