Moved from here http://forums.monomipark.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=991 to fit better with the new forum layout.

A new Island. Not sure how you go about getting there from the starting island. A teleporter perhaps.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Foggy Ranch:
You arrive in a small empty ranch similar to the one back home. There is a house there, and if you choose to sleep there. That will become your spawn point until you go back and sleep in the original home.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Faded Prairie:
Once you leave, you will find yourself in a vast and extremely foggy plain. The grass, ground, rocks and trees are all muted and faint colors. There is no music in this area, and not many landmarks. To find your way around you will have to find the areas slimes inhabit. These areas will have fruit, veggies and fowl.

The edges of the map are surrounded by cliff walls that are to high to fly over with a jetpack.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are two species of slimes in the prairie.

Bell Slimes:

Bronze colored slimes with a darker bronze ball inside them that bounces up and down as they move creating noise. They have white eyes and are blind. They communicate through sound. And use echolocation to find their way around.

They feed on meat and fruit, and their favorite food is the "Fog Hen-Hen". You get the achievement "I say I say boy" for capturing one. A homage to the "Foghorn Leghorn" cartoon series.

Their plorts emit sound on notes never even imagined of before. And are researched to have a better understanding of sound in general. From verbal communication to music.

You will find Roostros, Hen-Hens, Fog Hen-Hens chickadoos and fog chickadoos near inhabited areas.

You will need to listen for bell slimes to find your way to these areas.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mirror slimes:

These are slimes with an extremely reflective white-silver surface. They are very difficult to spot in the fog. They are uncommon, and will only be found by dumb luck, Or if you find an area inhabited by both bell and mirror slimes.

They feed on vegetables and fruit, and their favorite food is "Blancoriander"

Their plorts are highly useful in reflecting light and are used in stealth technology and in the creation of extremely powerful lights and lasers.

Blancoriander is flavorless herb that grows in the area.

You can also find Carrots and "Omberries" in the area. "Omberries" grow on bushes throughout the prairie. Though they are small, plain gray berries. They are surprisingly full of every flavor you can imagine.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fog Machine:

Both these slime species have lives in this climate for so long that they will eventually die if left somewhere else. They need The moisture in the fog to survive. and so need fog machines in their corrals.

Bell plorts base value is 15 NB. Mirror plorts are 30 NB.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will have to wander a bit to get around. And once you start hearing bell slimes. Follow the sounds to collect slimes and resources.

Because there are only 2 species of slime. You will not find Tarr unless you bring over plorts from elsewhere.

The ranch you start at is in the center of the map. And on the most northward and southward points are gordos. In the north is a bell gordo. And in the south, a mirror.

The bell gordo will need 50 Hen-hen, roostros or "omberries", or 25 Fog Hen-Hens to fill up. It drops a "Black slime key".

The mirror gordo will need 50 carrots or "omberries", or 25 "Blancoriander" to fill up. It drops the "White slime key"

At the most eastward and westward point on the map are slime key gates. West requires a black key. East, a white key.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The western gate leads to the "Jet Cavern"

Jet Cavern:

The "Jet Cavern" is a massive cavern made up of obsidian. There are a few holes in the ceiling that let light in. And giant crystal stalactites and stalagmites that give off their own light. their are also pools, rivers and lakes of lava that give off light. So you will not find this cavern to have a lack of light.

Falling into the lava=KO

You can find Carrots, Heartbeats, Briar Hen Hens, "Dustbunnoes", "Cave Hares", "Flufflings and "Coaliflower" in the "Jet Cavern".
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are 6 species of slime in the area. Pink, Rock and Boom slimes.

Soot slimes:

Soot slimes are very dark gray slimes that leave a trail of ash wherever they go. And can be tracked via the trail. They are fairly common and eat meat.

Their favorite food is "Dustbunnies".

Their plorts are used to make a special lye water that can clean anything. They are also used to make super charcoal tablets that can cure any tummy ache.

Ash plort have a base price of 30 NB.

They require a "Solar Shield" in their corral to survive.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dustbunnies are small dark grey cousins of the rabbit from back home and will run when they see a rancher. They can be found with "Cave Hares" slightly larger black rabbits. If "Dustbunnies are in close proximity to a "Cave Hare". They can give birth to "Flufflings". Adorable little white puffballs comprised of cuteness.

Though they are fearful of ranchers. They can be lured in with carrots.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Warrens:

Similar to coops. Warrens are used on the ranch to house "Dustbunnies", "Cave Hares" and "Flufflings"

High walls: Keeps hungry slimes out, and bunnies in. 300NB

Carrot dispenser: You will need to fill it every now and then. But while their bellies are full of carrot. The "Dustbunnies" will give birth to "Flufflings" twice as often.

Burrows: These extra tunnels give the "Flufflings" a place to hide and relax. And will cause them to reach adulthood twice as quickly.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Molten slime:

Molten slimes are glowing yellow slimes that rest on the surface of the lava. Touching them will harm the rancher. You will have to find some near the edge of the lava and suck them up.

They do not need food. Instead they absorb minerals from the lava.

Molten plorts are made up of a very precious ore. And are used to make all kinds of things ranging from jewellery to trash bins.

Molten plorts have a base price of 35NB.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Magma pools:

Magma pools are very similar to ponds, aside for the fact that you cannot stand in them. They are used to house "Molten slimes"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Diamond slimes:

Diamond slimes are very rare slimes with gem like bodies. Instead of having a smooth surface. Their bodies are multi faceted. They resemble giant round diamonds and eat vegetables. Their favorite food is "Coaliflower".

They are far less common than other slimes. And have a low chance of spawning near lava.

Diamond plorts are made up of extremely tough minerals and are exquisitely beautiful. They are used in jewellery and in mining tools.

Dimaond plorts have a base value of 50NB.

They require a "Solar Shield" in their corral to survive.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The eastern gate leads to pale peaks.

Pale Peaks:

Pale peaks is a large mountain range covered in great pine forests and snow. There are also hot springs. And slabs of ice scattered throughout.

You can find Briar hens, Briar chickadoos, Roostos,
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are 6 species of slimes here. Tabby, Phosphor and Honey.

Teddy slimes:

Teddy slimes are brown slimes with small round ears and small round tails. They are initially feral. But will become "friendly" if fed meat. They will also eat honey slimes, their favorite food if they can find them.

Teddy plorts are super soft and insulative. They are wonderful for making winter clothing of all kinds. Mittens, scarfs hats and even beautiful fur coats. Though some say they are best used when making teddy bears for children.

Teddy plorts have a base value of 35NB

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mud slimes:

Mud slimes are dark brown slimes that live in hot springs. They do not need food, and instead absorb the mineral rich water.

Mud plorts are made mud super-rich with wonderful minerals that are great for the skin. They are prized as the #1 beauty product in the galaxy.

Mud plorts have a base price of 40NB

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can vacuum up the water from the hot springs. This hot water can be used to melt ice slabs which sometimes contain crates and other goodies.

Some ice slabs block hidden caves. There are very few of these.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cursed slimes:

Cursed slimes are black slimes with glowing red eyes and mouths. They emit a red aura similar to "Rad Slimes" which will curse the ranch. And have a similar effect to radiation (slow damage over time I think).
They are extremely rare and have a low chance of spawning in caves. They are not actually cursed. But their "aura" contains powerful UV rays that are extremely harmful to humans.

They are permanently feral. And will attack the rancher on sight. They will stalk the rancher if they see it before it sees them. And while doing so, will not emit light. Making them appear as black spheres which extremely hard to spot.

They can still be vacuumed up though. And placed in corrals.

They require a "Solar Shield" to survive. And will not produce plorts unless they have a music box to soothe them. Even with a music box they are feral.

Cursed Plorts generate a mysterious energy that is used by the intergalactic government for classified projects. It is illegal for anyone but them to own them, aside from the rancher who supplies them.

Cursed plorts have a base price of 60NB.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's all for now. Feel free to leave suggestions if you have ideas for these concepts. I'm always happy to brainstorm. Please leave feedback if you can.

Hope you enjoy these suggestions :)!
