The Jelly Island

The jelly island, an island off the back of the range that moves around, to near one of the three parts of the ranch that have access to the sea (the docks, the slime science lab and behind the house.) This island is a massive relative of the rock slime, and houses The crab slime, The searock slime, The watery gul, The saltbeet, The clamit slime and the kelpfruit. The island moves away from the ranch each night, and if you are on the island as it turns to night, you will be knocked unconscious, and lose your items.

The Crab slime:

Diet; fruit

favourite:kelpfruit

Slimpedia entry: The crab slime has a hard shell on it's head that protects it from the falling rocks (and searock slimes!) that are common to the island, due to the fact that it moves. They are otherwise very friendly, unlike their earth counterparts. So much so, that they jump at ranchers with big smiles on their faces, when one is nearby.

Rancher risks: These slimes are harmless, in small numbers, it can be dangerously disorienting to be jumped on by twenty excited slimes! When in a coral, these slimes will do double damage to air nets, so avoid putting too many in one coral.

Plortnomics:
Crab plorts are used to create an amazing crab soup, that is easy to serve on luxury starliners. Crab plort soup is galaxy renowned for not only it's taste, but the fact that it takes little to no cooking skill to prepare, making the plorts very valuable.

price: 40 to 100 newbucks

The Searock slime:

Diet: Vegetables

Favourite: saltbeet

Slimpedia entry: This slime is a relative of the rock slime. The whole island is, in fact, a massive searock slime. No one knows how the slime got that big, however, some hypothesize that millions of searock slimes formed into a huge gordo that now wanders the slime sea. the original habitat of this slime is currently unknown.

Rancher risks: These slimes have a similar danger about them as their cousins, the rock slimes. Their head-spikes are rough and dark grey, and they also hurt more. ranching these slimes is especially difficult, as they will not eat any plorts, nor will any other slimes will eat their plorts.

Plortnomics: Searock plorts are very durable and rough, which makes them excellent drill heads and sanders. They are a much cheaper option than diamond or another alloy, and are all natural, which make them a semi-valuable investment
sells for 35-105 newbucks.

The clamit slime:

Diet: meat

Favourite: watery gul

Slimepedia entry: Clamit slimes are normally small white slimes, but when threatened they will form a rough oval shell and burrow into the sand. Most of the time the slimes will be waiting under the sand, for an unlucky watery gul to walk over the distinctive lump of sand. Removing these slimes is similar to taking veggies out of the ground.

Rancher risks: These slimes have been known to mistake ranchers and other slimes for food, and stepping on a sand mound could be quite painful. The clamit slimes will also burrow in their corals, and if they smell food, they will jump out violently, and most likely will short out an air net, if too many slimes live there.

Plortnomics: Clamit plots are soft, like clay, but they have the luster of pearls, and when exposed to strong X-rays, they become solid. This property makes custom pearl jewelry, that would be impossible with normal earth pearls.
selling price:70-140 newbucks

The Foodstuffs act similarly to their land counterparts, however, other slimes will not eat any of these foods. However, the Jelly island slimes, will eat anything in their diet. The watery gul is a seagull that is really fat. The gul will breed with other roosteros, but will not produce other roosteros.

Terrain: Jelly island exists in all three places but they are not visible and only one will be loaded.
The map mostly consists of a large version of the searock slime spikes.

The area is unlocked by bursting a puddle gordo located at the docks, who must be fed 30 ancient water. There is a treasure pod beside this gordo, that has the Black teleporter, so it is easier to get it ancient water. The teleporter is made with puddle plorts. When the gordo bursts, an enlarged treasure pod beacon appears, and stays there for 7 days, after which, the Jelly island will appear. the puddle slimes will race to the pond at the docks after being bursted.

Thanks for reading, this is my first area. enjoy!

I like the idea of a time-restricted area, but I think you shouldn't be able to reach it right from the beginning. Maybe it should be unlocked after a key event, like the opening of the Ancient Ruins gate?
Crab slimes shouldn't give you this many newbucks, since they aren't harmful and they don't require any additional maintenance compared to regular slimes.
It would be also preferable if the watery gul was a type of hen, unless it can somehow breed with roostros and breed chickadoos that will have a chance to turn into roostros.

Yeah, I agree with EmeraldPlay.

About the time restricted area.

And everything else.

Also, awesome job! This is fantastic!

Can you delete posts after 24 hours?

Yes. But only if it meets these requirements:
~It is the final post
~It is your post

You can only delete it if it meets both requirements.
And it would be very hard to get everyone else to delete their posts, and you would probably create more posts by doing so. Eventually a post dies though, it falls through near infinite levels until pretty much no one visits it (I think).

Necro means you're "reviving" a post for no good reason.

Lets say cooldude11 posts a thing about pink slimes and 11 people comment
1 week passes
and a random person comments, bringing the post to the top of the forum.
Everyone is now unhappy at that person because they "Necroed" a post

Yeah, like a post has sunken to the second page.

Then someone comments, "I like potatoes!!1!!!!"
The topic is brought all the way back.
Everyone groans.
But since you're the owner, lbyrne2, I believe you can necro... up to a certain extent.
