Slimeology:
The Energy Slime is a slime that has special, sensitive nerves on its back. The nerve ending (that looks strangely like a power button) will cause a bolt of energy to be fired out of the other ending.
Rancher Risks:
The bolts of energy will agitate slimes and hurt ranchers, and are fired when the energy slime is agitated or when something touches the power button.
Plortonomics:
The Energy Plorts are just more warriors in the fight for renewable energy.
Appearance:
The Energy Slime will be shaped like a puddle slime, but black, with a glowing yellow nerve running across it and ending at the back, looking like a power button, and at the front, looking like a lightning bolt.
Notes:
I'm not sure if the bolt should rot food or not. I will try to upload a picture soon. The nerve glows so it should not be mistaken for a Tarr
