Baby slimes.

I was thinking of having a pen that looks like a little shed. The shed should cost 1000 newbucks. If you put two of the same slimes in it, the door will shut.

Their will be a timer above the shed. It will take 5 minutes to make a baby slime (The timer will count down from 5 minutes to 0 seconds). Then all the slimes including the baby slime will come out once the timer hits 0 seconds.

The shed will be called a Freindly Barn.

The baby slime takes 2 days to be a grown up slime. The plorts will be smaller and will give you about half the price of the regular plorts. The baby will also be smaller.

You can't make a Baby slime with Largo slimes.

I hope everybody enjoys my thought about having Baby slimes. If the game creators are reading this, I hope you will add it into the next or just another update.

This could be interesting, but I think it should only take 1 slime.
The reason is that the slimes can join together with each other (see Gordo description), and would theoretically be able to split too (asexual vs sexual reproduction). I think if you had them producing sexually you would change the species themselves.

Great concept, may need a bit of tweaking on say the timer count but it is a good concept

I'm not sure if breeding would be a good thing. It's already easy to find slimes out there in the wild and through gordo snares.

In all seriousness, I don't think this would really suit the game.
As much as I'm an advocate for telling children what there is to know in a casual but sensible manner, some parents decide to be a little... slow when it comes to explaining reproduction to their children.

Additionally, this seems unfitting as this game is meant to give a relatable farming experience with a twist, and this seems far too "Farming Simulator" for me.

I don't really see why you would use this anyway, as slimes can be gathered somewhat easily.

except it would be cool if it worked on gold and lucky slimes and they did not go away

This is how I've always assumed slimes replicate. Even though we never actually see it happen.

A process that happens in the Slime Sea, perhaps?

Could be although it won’t work with largos if Saber Slimes have taught us anything...

True, but Largos are hybrids, and most hybrids can't reproduce anyways.

Or I guess this would be closer to how amoebas eat (engulfing other organisms)
