Mountain Slime

Postby GoldenLucky99 » Thu Jan 04, 2018 12:08 pm

This is my idea for a mountain slime

P.S. Anyone who also had this idea, this is coincidental and this is what I'd think of a mountain slime.
I also have no art.

This slime can bend and move the ground, sometimes creating spikes similar to the crystal slime and hurt you. This slime doesn't like the puddle slime, so create some distance or the Mountain Slime will become agitated.

It is semi-common and its location is the Moss Blanket. Its favorite food is the mud pie, found on the ground. It has an earthy color with metal spikes coming out of it, like the Rock Slime. It has some tiny plants growing from cracks in its body. Its plorts are often used for decoration, as they look very good. Its plort value is 60 newbucks.

Here is its slimepedia entry:

Mountain Slime

He hates fungi, but he has to admit they're fun guys.

Eats meat and water

Favorite food: Mud Pie

His plorts are used for various ornaments and decor.

He can make spikes out of the ground, like Crystal Slimes.

Plort Value: 60

That's it! This is my first post, and I hope you like it! I also did this of the format of a post that helps you with things like this. Here's the link: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5228

Yeah, I was also thinking that the spike ability was kind of uncreative, because Crystal Slimes can also do that, but I'm not really sure what to do.

Maybe like litterally earth bending with that I mean slightly lifting huge chunks around him when he is hungry, feral or he will just do it randomly but of course it will after some time make the chunk go back to where it was.
Hope this helped you a bit :D.

Maybe could you make the mountain slime blend in with his surroundings? That would be pretty weird but cool also.

Why would one of the diet of the Mountain Slime be water if he hates puddles?

Well, I guess he hates them so much he likes to eat them to punish them.

I don't think that's how diets work.

Maybe he can't be kept near puddle slimes because he tries to eat them and scares them out of their pond, and he gets agitated if he's near them but can't reach to eat them?
