Prism Slimes

Native to the Glass Desert, these Slimes are thought to be a subspecies of Tarr. White Prism slimes are more common during the day, Black Prism slimes at night; otherwise they act in more or less the same way.
Favorite food: Elder Roostro (White) Mint Mango (Black)
Appearance: White (or black) with rainbow patterns but normal mouths and eyes. A bit like a small Tarr, but without the sludgy texture
Gordo: No
Largo: No
Plort: Black or white with rainbow patterns
Plort default value: 95
Although by nature gentle, when agitated, Prism slimes give off a blinding flash of light, causing all nearby - including ranchers - to see nothing but whiteness for three or four seconds. While this doesn't hurt, it makes it impossible to evade or fight harmful or hostile slimes.
Prism slimes are used to roaming, so they do better in free-range environments such as the Grotto, the Overgrowth or even the Lab. Ranchers who do decide to corral these slimes need to be careful to avoid overcrowding. If there are more than three Prism slimes in total, they will feel cramped and miserable, and plort production will cease.
