Containers

Postby Randomtangle » Wed Oct 04, 2017 11:35 am

There would be a thing called a container-maker that makes containers! What are containers you ask? Containers are items that hold items and can be vacuumed up. They can be inserted into things like the slime market to save time.

I like it! If this were to be implemented, then you would likely be able to hold only one container per slot, due to how the game's inventory system works.
Also, are you able to transfer stuff into containers from silos and plort collectors faster?

Yeah! dut you can hold a few containers because they hold your starting amount of inventory space.

Could the containers take up separate spaces in your inventory regardless of what is in the container. An example would be being able to take an entire silo's worth of items plorts or food in one trip to where ever you want to go. and the containers don't have to be a consumable, say at the plort exchange there is a place for you to place the container it opens the bottom the items get released and put into a collector for sale (in the case of plorts). In the case of storing food You could also set up this to work for silos it could have a similar system of place the container on the podium hit a button and release the loot into a funnel and now its in the silo. Also i think that this could be a early game investment nothing to expensive great for those who like bigger paydays. And in the late game there is a large amount of time spent vacuuming up and shooting stuff out of the gun every time you want to move anything. if you could dump a whole inventory's worth in a moment not standing there for thirty seconds unloading your gun that would be much nicer. Hey why not have the plort collectors on corals directly fill up the containers as an upgrade to the corrals. You can pick up and stack containers for an absolutely massive payday, man i hope this becomes a thing.

Maybe there could be different types of containers that can hold all items, but hold more items if they are the item the container specializes in. (Plort Container= Can hold more plorts than other items, ect.)
