Freeze Slimes are a descendant of crystal slimes, that have adapted to blend in with their cold surroundings, and hide from the Tarr.
Rancher Risks:
Apart from the icy spikes covering it's body, a Freeze Slime emits cold air, which, is only detrimental if a rancher stays close to a freeze slime for too long.

Freeze Plorts, once refined hold an advanced form of liquid nitrogen, which freezes almost anything instantly.
