Cell SlimeDiet: Meat
Favorite Food: Chickadoo
When/Where it is found: Ancient Ruins
Passive or Aggressive: The Cell Slime is only passive when it's a normal Slime or Gordo, not a Largo. If it mixes with any Slime, it turns feral, similar to how a Hunter Slime turns feral when mixed.
Rarity: From a scale of 1-10, 1 being most common, it is about a 3.
Plort Cost: An average of 50 Newbucks.
Slimology:Cell Slimes were created when a micro organism was found within a meteorite that landed on the Slime Ranch. The organism left the meteorite and grew as it fed on remains of Slimes. Eventually, it was large enough to become it's own Slime, and so it reproduced on it's own, and it began reproducing until there was a considerable population of Cell Slimes.
Rancher Risks:Because the Cell Slime is able to reproduce on it's own, having too many Cell Slimes in a coral can cause it to overflow with Cell Slimes, being they split into another Slime in a matter of 3 days. The best way to take care of this is to create a Largo, but even this has it's own risks. Largos cannot use mitosis to reproduce anymore, however, they are also feral. You can calm them down by feeding them.
Plortonomics:The Cell Slime's Plorts were found after years of adaptation to the Slime Ranch. When a scientist by the name of Dr. Alexander F. Sharp visited the ranch, he found that Cell Slimes were now producing Plorts that were teeming with bacteria. He studied the Plorts and found they could be used to fight off diseases like Chicken Pox and the Flu with ease. Now, Cell Slime Plorts are now used as a common medicine for common diseases.
