Food type: Pink Slimes

Favorite food: None

Passive or aggressive?: Passive

Where are they found?: Dark dark caves that require a flashlight <possible future biome>

How rare? 1-10: 5

Notable attributes and features: Fist off, you will notice the Jelly Vamp slime has a desire for pink slimes, this is because they look like blood drops. They also have tiny wings <optional> which allow them to fly much like the phosphor slime. They also require an air net to make sure they don't leap out and eat your other pink slimes, and require a solar shield <optional> else they wont drop plorts.
Jelly Vamp slimes also have a tiny spaded tail <optional> which swishes about every now and then.
JVSs will constantly try to eat pink slimes if they are near by as they have a forever hunger for them. This makes it dangerous to put them in a correl by them. Another issue is that JVSs will also attempt to eat Any kind of pink Largo slimes. However useful that may be in preventing Tarr outbreaks, it's almost the same if you decide to have a pink farm, this includes a Jelly Vamp pink largo, So beware.

Anything else: This unique type of slime feeds off of wandering and unsuspecting pink slimes to thrive in it's environment. The Jelly Vamp Slime blends in with the darkness around it and waits to strike. A Jelly Vamp Slime is considered to be quite friendly in the day, but very vicious during the night, slime scientists have no idea for the cause of this except the tales of an ancient being called a Vampire which was said to walk the earth in the Pre Pre medieval times, But who knows if that is really true. None the less, despite being adapt to hunting in the dark cavers scattered about the Slime Sea, They developed one specific trait to help in their hunting, their glowing pink eyes. Jelly Vamp Slimes use their pink eyes to lure pink slimes closer, then pounce and eat them. Most travelers and Ranchers notice them ahead of time and mistaken them for either dancing fairies or pink plorts.
Jelly Vamp slimes have a very good sense of jelly detection and will do everything in their power to eat pink slimes if not properly fed.

Note: More on this slime will be updated even if the developers are not interested in this idea. I just discovered this website, and personally would love to help with slime ideas since I play this game a lot and do story writing on the side. I also have 2 artists on hand to help me express the visual aspect as clearly as possible. If anyone want's to help, put the ideas I post in front of the developers, I promise to make as many interesting and possibly complex slimes as possible which may even introduce new products to the farm. I have more then just slime ideas. So expect me to hang around this site.

I am simply doing this for the benefit of the game and nothing more.

Future Info: Image, Possible more in depth description/Background.

Thx for reading <3

Nice idea, however the choice of pink slimes as its favorite food isn't good I think, as pink slimes are literally everywhere, so it wouldn't be hard at all to feed it.

Welcome to the forums!

P.S. Slime ideas are never ever considered to be added by devs.

I was just thinking that because there are SO MANY pink slimes, that it would be good to put them to use, as well as have a unique slime food system. I mean, it isn't that hard to feed any of the slimes.

If we're talking about favorite foods (without largos), Quantum and Crystal Slimes would like to show you that you're wrong.

Well, I have no trouble feeding all types of slimes. It just takes 1 seed and a good crop system. I have a pile of slimes of all types (excluding quantums) and i have no trouble profiting with favorite foods. I could even do quantums but in my opinion they are a hassle I can't handle lol.

But in all, these are just ideas. I'm just set on making them a possibility to be explored. Weither they are touched or not makes no difforence to me, if they are used, then I can be happy knowing we (my group) have helped a game grow. If they arn't used, well, we can use them ourselves. We are happy to provide ideas for things like Slime Rancher. Opportunities are what run the world. It's simply up to the person on weither to take them or not.
