Ice Slime

Slimeology:
A puddle slime one day wandered into the Metric Tondra
And unsurprisingly he froze, But something was wrong. He couldnt move, he looked around and. . . he was a cube of ice!
unable to move these slimes rely heavily on snow. It feeds them, it hides them. and it hugs them. If put into a sunny location these slimes will melt. whats left is a sticky stubstance which slowly evaporates. Some people dont know why this slime exist. shouldnt it be extinct by now? is a question many scientist have asked. its a great mystery!

rancher risks:
The sticky substance the ice slime creates is extremely harmful too slimes. if it is close enough to other slimes. they get "sick" They Stop producing plorts and get other slimes infected too, this leads to huge outbursts of disease ridden slimes.

plortonomics:
Ice slime plorts are great for creating ice. This special ice seems to only melt in extremly hot tempatures which makes it a must have in beverages.

I think it would be cool if you brought a Puddle Slime into this zone, they would change into a Ice Slime, and vice-versa.
