Almost immediately after discovering an island off the coast of the Indigo Quarry, I discovered these slimes, at first I thought they were three different species, but after researching them, I discovered they changed colour depending on what they are fed.

Appearance:
Either a red, green, or dark blue slime, covered in crystal spikes.
Location:
Indigo Quarry - Ash Isle
Diet:
Veggies
Slimeology:
Assumed to be a mutated version of crystal slimes, their bodies change colour depending on many factors, most likely the kinds of food they eat, Rubies enjoy Cuberries, Emeralds enjoy Minty Mango, and Sapphires enjoy Odd Onions.
Rancher Risks:
Their incredible appetite can easily clear out a garden, and their ever changing favourite food can lead to an abundance of plorts, which may lead to unwanted Tarr.
Plortonomics:
Once refined, can be used in neon signs, their colour changes depending on the amount of electricity passing through them.

i would imagine that the crystal formations on their backs should be of different shapes, to distinguish the slime's from each other, not just by color alone (keep in mind, some people are colorblind)

and maybe the plorts can be used to create more Crystal like structures around the ranch, maybe an entire new biome can be added!
