Slimeology:
The Cactus slime is a peculiar Animal. It Steals Chlorophyll From the cacti found in the glass desert. Sadly this Doesnt Give this slime enough nutrients to Drop plorts like puddle slimes. But it is enough to ensure that if there is a shortage of food, The cactus Slime wont get hungry. These cactus slimes have developed strange Techniques for catching prey. They partially bury themselves, and when a unlucky henhen or roostro passes by It Jumps up and shoots out its many sharp spines in a explosive manner.

Rancher Risks:
The Cactus slime is a somewhat an aggressive slime, If you get to close it will not be afraid to Shoot out many of its spines at you. These slimes arent neccesarily an horrible slime to have, But it is definetely a hassle too take care of their needs.

Plortonomics:
The Sharp Spiny plorts are great for creating anesthesias. Their plorts sharp needles contain a liquid used for surgerys and such. their Spines also work well as needles as they are quite sharp and small.

I think that It should be pickled by, having a machine that can be put into land plots which can pickle diffrent fruits vegetables and meats. of course this will take a pretty long time thats why i think there should be upgrades to decrease the time. and upgrades to increase the amount of diffrent Foods you can put into it.

I like the idea of it hiding in the ground, but the spike idea doesn't really work. It sounds exactly like a boom slime.
