Slimeology:
These distant cousins of the phosphor slimes actually thrive in the glass desert they also hate any form of light. Unlike their glowing cousins these slimes do not produce light but instead constantly fly and are pretty hard to catch because of this. Anyone equipped with a proper jetpack should be alright but for certain ranchers these slimes are a pain to catch especially when they are largos.

Rancher Risks:
These slimes like most are pretty much harmless but many ranchers have met certain death by falling into the slime sea or a bottomless pit whilst trying to vac up an Antlion slime. Also air nets are a very very very good idea for any corral containing Antlion slimes.

Plortonomics:
Back on earth Antlion plorts are actually the main material for airborne vehicles like planes and space shuttles because of their high resistance to high speed and cold. When heated they even become a nice healthy ingredient to any dish. They smell really bad though.
