A crustacean slime

Someone might have had this idea already, but oh well. What if there was a red slime with crab-like claws? Or lobster-like antenna? Their diet could be snails, which is sad because I love snails, Or maybe fish or algae. If they fall in the sea, they won't die, but eventually will sink. I thought of this spur of the moment honestly, but I think it sounds cute.

I have way too many deep-sea and not-really-all-that-deep-sea slime ideas. This is just one of them.
