It's been a long time since I've been here, sorry, I'm mostly active on Steam and the SRWiki. I just wrote this on the discussion page on the wiki and I wanted to share it here since my original idea was on here for the unlucky slime
Unlucky Slime
"The Yin to your Yang"
Slimeology:
Unlucky Slimes are a rare type of slime that bears very similar features to that of the Lucky Slime, however, because of the various tricks it has up its sleeve and other signs of a higher intelligence than most slimes, slime scientists believe that the Unlucky Slime is simply a strange variant of Hunter Slime who has an acquired taste for newbucks
Unlucky Slimes are very tricky and slippery and even the most skilled ranchers haven't managed to catch these slimes.
Rancher Risks:
Because Unlucky Slimes are a variant of Hunter Slimes, they are known to be tricky and deceitful. They disguise as Lucky slimes and create the same jingling noise, but when fed will swipe some newbucks from ranchers, turning into it's normal black form, giving a sly grin, and running away well-fed.One counter to this though is that its signature black coin will not change, making it a dead givaway
Plortonomics:
Unlucky slimes aren't known to produce any plorts or expel any money consumed at all.
Appearance:
Unlucky slimes are naturally black slimes with red eyes and a black coin on its forehead. When encountered in the wild, Unlucky Slimes take on the appearance of Lucky Slimes except its coin will not change back to a normal gold color.
Behaviors:
When fed, Unlucky slimes will steal newbucks from the player. If the player has 0 newbucks then Unlucky Slimes just won't spawn or will despawn, 1-100 and the Unlucky slime will steal everything. 101-500 and the Unlucky slime will steal anywhere from 50-100. 501- 1000 and the unlucky slime will steal anywhere from 100-501. 1000+ and the unlucky slime will just steal 10%.
In Rush Mode, Unlucky and Lucky slimes alike will be more common. The same rules apply but when the player gets above 1000, the unlucky slime will steal 25%
In Casual mode, Unlucky slime spawn rate is the same but they will only steal 5% when above 1000
Yin-Yang:
Unlucky slimes and Lucky Slimes seem to always be nearby each other no matter what. When a Lucky slime is encountered, there is a 50% chance of an Unlucky slime coming soon after. If an Unlucky slime is encountered first, there is a 15% chance of a Lucky Slime coming soon after.
If you encounter a Lucky slime first, feed it, and then feed the Unlucky slime, the Unlucky will take away what the Lucky slime gave you plus its normal penalty
If you encounter an Unlucky slime first, feed it, and then feed a Lucky Slime, the Lucky slime will give you back double what the Unlucky slime took no matter what
Lucky and Unlucky slimes also may have a very very small chance of spawning together in a stack, the Unlucky Slime won't be disguised while it's in a stack but will disguise itself the moment it gets off
