Crystal slimes are the rarest slimes that exist. While they cannot produce plorts, they are the only slime that can eat another plort type without becoming a tarr. Feeding a crystal slime a plort and a crystal food (Ruby Pogofruit, Crystal Carrot, Cerulean Cuberry, Amethyst Heartbeet or Moonstone Mango) it will reproduce the plort for double its value. If given its favourite food it will triple its value!
Rancher Dangers: Crystal Slimes are extremely reflective and can incinerate light sensitive slimes if they are too close. Furthermore, Crystal Slimes are very pretty, and since they love being the center of attention, w=they will attract other slimes, which can cause a mass breakout at your Ranch.
Slimeology: The hard Crystal interior is the reason why Tarrs can't eat them. the crystal is much to hard for them to break down. It is theorised that a rock slime was stuck under high pressure for an elongated period of time, compressing the Carbon Rock innto a massive Crystal
