Ranchable Gordo slimes

Gordo slime are interesting and I tried to think of a way to make them work as ranchable slimes.

Slime that when fed instead of popping out plorts automatically it'll just grow larger, heavier and slower and once it's large enough you can suck the plorts out of it reducing it back to original size but it'll explode into plorts and die if you let it eat too much without sucking the plorts out of it.

Non-combined it probably should be able to eat only 3-10 food before exploding and once about to explode start behaving like a largo so that you can suck the plorts out of it(first you suck the plorts and then the once again suckable slime)
Combined into a largo after eating it a bit it should stop getting stuck in front of vacpac and just slowly move around on the ground(making it impossible to move from a collar for a bit) and after eating enough food to almost explode sucking it a bit would make it start to pop out plorts by itself until it's small enough to again get stuck in front of the vacpac or it could work like a container that you suck from however many plorts you want that closes as soon as you stop sucking them but that seems less interesting.

Not popping plorts without your help or dying might make it somewhat safe to keep different types together and slow move speed and such might make it fine to even keep them out of collars.

Also having to "invest" more into it before getting any profit might make it a interesting way to sort of use it as a piggybank so that you won't go spending your money on cheaper stuff when you want something more expensive.

Instead of new slime type that combines into a gordo there could be some other way to turn regular slimes into one like maybe if you leave a slime with lot more than it can eat of it's favorite food around or maybe if you try to shoot food at a full slime several times it might force itself to eat it and after doing that a few times it could turn into a gordo or simply a new item that turns slime into one or feeding a gold plort to it could do it(unless it already has some planned use) .

Maybe Gordo Tars should also be a thing so instead of regular one that jumps around and stuff it'd turn into a huge one that just crawls around shooting tar blobs at things or something.

Hmm yeah I didn't consider that if you had enough food you could just keep feeding them and extracting plorts. Maybe they could be more wasteful for food per plort ratio or maybe after getting rid of all the plorts it would spend a long time without eating anything.
