instead of standard plorts it would produce pearl plorts that would be sphere shaped.

they would die if left out of water for extended periods, but unlike puddle slimes they should require some sort of food.

unlike puddle slimes they would not use up any of the water around themselves and would merely live in it.

it would have a shell with the slime itself poking out from inside.

Is there any danger of the pearl plorts rolling away? Can you vac them when they're hiding in their shells? Do you have a specific species of pearl oyster in mind for its look, or is it more of a generic bivalve? >w>

(Also, would you like to join the Aquatic Revolution? We're pushing for an aquarium upgrade/replacement to the pond and otherwise working on aquatic/beach slime ideas.)

i just wrote down a quick idea i had. i prefer to leave most of my suggestions loose and open to change. if i specify too much then people stop thinking about my suggestion beyond whether they do or don't like it. this way it is open for debate and it can be made into something acceptable to the majority.

also that was pretty much everything i had actually worked out. i can't remember what i was thinking when i came up with the oyster slime but it was most likely inspired by some random post in these forums and the original post probably represents about 5 minutes worth of thought.

as for the revolution, i am a big fan of new content and would really like to see more aquatic slimes of different varieties. currently i can effectively maintain production of every type of plort on my ranch, i dislike that. i prefer it when games give me choices that have significant consequences. i want to have to really think about which slime types i want to raise on my farm and be forced to leave some slime types alone because they just won't fit.

tldr; i spent about 5 minutes thinking about this new slime before i posted, and i like new content.
