make sure you got a air net or these guys will get free and cube your place up!

plortonics- the cubed shaped plort is durable yet soft.
they are perfect for building inner walled structures that can handle tornadoes and other storms!

I love your idea. I wonder if they would act similarly to a Nurikabe demon? Blocking paths and being a possible adorable nuisance?

This little thing reminds me of the gelatinous cube from Dungeons and Dragons, minus the floating bones in it. This cube slime is much cuter!
