Slime Noir
Just a little Spooky

Favorite: Buggles (Beetles)

Slimeology: Slime Noir are very shy and timid slimes whom like to keep themselves hidden in very dark places. They can be hard to spot if not for their eyes which illuminate the dark spaces. Slime Noirs are very handy for keeping the bug infestations down while being very humble house guests.

Rancher Risks: Slime Noirs have special needs compared to your typical slime. A slime noir and its plorts will quickly vanish if exposed to sunlight, meaning a rancher could quickly lose an entire corral's worth of slime noir if not careful. Ranchers must either vac them up before daybreak or keep slime noir in a place that is perpetually dark, like a cave, or use the Solar Shield upgrade.


Plortonomics: Noir Plorts make excellent ink for quills and other writing pens.

Dusty Slime
Down and Dirty

Diet: Veggies

Favorite: Carrots

Slimeology: Dusty slimes love nothing more then being dirty. Everywhere they go they kick up the dust, sand, and dirt making small clouds of dust form around them. They love rolling around against the ground.

Rancher Risks: Ranchers with allergies beware, dusty slimes are known for causing runny noses.

Plortonomics: Despite the messy behavior of a dusty slime, dusty plorts make an excellent cleaning product for picking up dirt and dust around the home.

Woolly Slime
It looks so plush!

Diet: Fruit

Favorite: Melloncoli (A bitter-sweet cauliflower-like fruit)

Slimeology: Woolly slimes are seemlingly grumpy slimes whom like to be close to each other and are often found in groups.

Rancher Risks:Ranchers should be aware, as an angered or startled woolly has been known to head butt ranchers to protect it's self and it's 'herd'.

Plortonomics: Woolly plorts are made of soft plush material perfect for clothing or filling plush toys.

Lol yeah- It's a pun on Le Chat Noir, but I can see how it could ruin the rhythm of names.

O: yea, other than that, I'm all about having more light-sensitive slimes that have glowy features. It would make more use of the cave expansion and more reason to explore at night.

I adore these. I love the Noir slime (despite the fact that it's misnamed, as it should be black and white to be truely noir).

The concept of the dusty slime is great! The idea of dust clouds is so cute! Even though it looks a bit grimy... though that's the point, I guess! I will avoid it as I'm allergic to dust though >:'I

And the woolly slime? I can't even- It's too god damn cute. I want one. I need it for a pillow.

Your thinking "Film Noir" but the name is a reference to the famous le "Chat Noir" with a black cat for a mascot.
