The Hallow Update!

The Hallow Update:

This update adds in: A new slime! New food! New upgrades! A new area! A new mechanic! New things! and a splash of spookiness!

New mechanics:
Slimes now have emotions (Yes, I know there are already emotions but they express the new emotions more seriously.)
1. Blank - Slimes have no emotions at this point, they just have a face just like the rock slime's profile picture.

2. Happy/Joy - Slimes will jump around like maniacs with a happy face. They do this if you feed them their favorite food twice and they are within the radius of their favorite toy.

3. Sad/Melancholic - Slimes will skid around looking very sad. They will make a depressing cry that will irritate other slimes and make them angry. They will be sad if you don't feed them for a day.

4. Speaking of angry - Slimes will have an angry face and jump at each other and chase other slimes or even their owner, of course other slimes will become scared. They will be angry if either not fed for two or more days or get irritated by a sad slime.

5. Speaking of scared - Slimes will have a scared face and run around/panic. They will make a cry of fear which will irritate other slimes. They will be scared by either being around a Tarr or being chased by an angry slime.

The Haunting Slime:

The slime will look like a ghost, and will have a face similar to Domo(NHK)'s face this slime can do 5 things:

1. Go invisible- The slime will go completely invisible.
2. Go through walls - The slime will go through any wall.
3. Disappear in the daytime - The slime will disappear in the daytime like the Phosphor slime.
4. Diet and personality will change depending on mood - It's self-explanatory.
5. Jumpscare -This will happen anytime you get in the radius of a haunting slime, the slime will become visible, quickly fly at your face, then turn invisible again returning to it's previous spot.

How to counter 4 of these things:
1. Go invisible - You need the "Invisi-Tracker", This upgrade can be activated with the "I" key. This upgrade will use energy everytime you track an invisible slime, this upgrade has 3 stages when trying to track invisible slimes:
1. Cold - Low-beeping sound.
2. Warm - Medium-beeping sound and will have an arrow pointing at the direction where the slime is, kinda like a GPS.
3. Hot - High-beeping sound and will highlight the slime red.

2. Go through walls - You need the "Bouncer". This corral upgrade will make a Rectangular box similar to a modern speaker, Any slime that tries to touch the wall even slimes with special abilities will bounce back. When a slime touches the wall it will make a "Thump" sound, if you don't want an annoyance there will be a button outside to adjust the volume.

3. Disappear in the daytime - Get the "Solar Shield".

4. Jumpscare - You will need the "Scare-scares mask". This will use energy everytime you get jumpscared, this upgrade will have 3 Marks:
Mk. I - Decrease the chance of getting jumpscared to 50%.
Mk. II - Decrease the chance of getting jumpscared to 25%.
Mk. III - You will not get jumpscared anymore.

The cool one out of the 4:
It's diet and personality will change depending on it's mood.

1. Blank - It will eat anything but it has no favorite.
It's favorite toy will be the "Vampy", it will look like a cute chibi vampire.

2. Happy - It will only eat fruits, it's favorite will become the "Cheerful Cheery".
Cheerful Cherry - A yellow cherry that will have pom-poms attached to it, the color of the pom-poms can vary.
It's favorite toy will be the "Confetti-Balloon", it will look like a balloon that has confetti inside of it and has a smile drawn on it.

3. Sad - It will only eat veggies, it's favorite will become the "Melancholic Mushroom".
Melancholic Mushroom - A dark-blue mushroom with light-blue spots that are shaped like tears, it's stem is shaped like a tear.
It's favorite toy will be the "Sulking-dog", it will look like a cute dog with a frown on it's face.

4. Angry - It will only eat meat, it's favorite will become the "Rage Hen".
Rage Hen - A hen that has an angry face and has a fire pattern on it's body.
It's favorite toy will become "Broken-controller", it will look like a controller that has been broken apart.

Secret Style for each mood:
1. Blank - Sleepy-Sloth, it will have a sleep face like the "Expressionless Emoji", it will have a pattern similar to a sloth.

2. Happy - Beaming-Bottlenose, it will have a smiling face, it will have a pattern similar to a Bottlenose dolphin.

3. Sad - Sorrowful-Seal, it will have a face similar to a seal, it will have a pattern similar to a seal.

4. Angry - Sneaky-Snake, it will have an angry/mischievous face, it will have a pattern similar to a green snake.

The Hollow Path:

It will look like a dark-purple forest with little to no life, it is a path with many ups and downs and obstacles leading to only a disappointing cliff that is on the edge of the Slime Sea. Some say that it is worth it to go because the view is amazing from the cliff. Everything rarely spawns in this area,
Cheerful Cherries will glow in the dark, Melancholic Mushrooms make a slight light-blue glow, and Rage Hens rarely run around. Haunting slimes haunt the surroundings.

Some speculate that there was once a desert island filled with ancient plants that sprout oases, this island was once attached to the path making the path lush with life. The island needed water from the Slime Sea then the water from the Slime Sea turns into Ancient Water which keeps the ancient plants running. They needed each other, but one day the island magically disappeared. Some speculate that it descended into the Slime Sea without a trace, and even more speculate that the island was carried to another dimension by large quantities of slimes that bend space and time.

I plan to express more of my slime rancher ideas in the future :)

Nice ideas, though the going through walls mechanic might be a bit problematic to implement, and the jumpscares aren't very fitting for a game like this.
