I was thinking, could there be special one of a kind slimes that are the bases for easter eggs or items that are dropped by certain things?
For example:
A gordo among gordos with an animal print and wearing a (slanted) crown; an easter egg about Portal's Animal King.
A golden plort dropped from a golden slime having a 1% or so being in the shape of a certain golden triangle, it will still be registered as a golden plort though so you can still sell it.
Randomly occurring special toadstools in the world that are like the shrooms from Mario, the green and red shrooms.
Things like this would add a little bit of surprise fun.
